Get to Know Us

sports can positively influence young kids within a community by encouraging social connections, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Participating in sports also encourages friendships, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and builds a shared identity among peers.
Our documentaries will be designed and led by young people, so it is from their life experience and view point. Under professional guidance we will ensure quality and provide skills training and work experience for the participants involved. Our documentaries spotlight the positive impacts of our community-led sports initiatives in combating prevalent challenges such as knife crime, mental health crisis and financial deprivation.
JRC works to grow and increase the delivery of youth sports and programs. We do that with the focus on engaging with young people through mentoring and the delivery of high-quality sports and media-based programs both in schools and in the local community. We aim to build collaborative networks among sports-based youth development organizations and agencies, directly supporting them with training, education, and outcome measurement, the collaborations aim to reinvent and raise the aspirations for youth sports programming focusing on the development of the mental heal and wellbeing of participants.
The main attribute sports improve for anybody, specifically kick-boxing & football, is that it allows you to not be controlled by your ego or emotional impulsive. When you learn to control your ego, a lot of the issues that are happening amongst young people, much of the violence, such as knife crime often tie into a person’s ego, lack of self-awareness, self-discipline and respect for life and others. Sports builds and helps clean up a human’s character and addresses many of the social issues that young people face daily.
Our overall aim for the programs is positive redirection for youths and building healthy mind sets. What we hope that will come out of this program is that kids will be redirected in the way that they think, the way that they use their energy, and the way that they apply their time.
